Meet Dion, Director & General Manager at Reitech Services

With over a decade of experience in the resources sector, Dion Wouters leads Reitech Services with deep technical expertise and a practical, people-first approach. Beginning his career as an apprentice in the industry, Dion worked his way up through hands-on roles into senior management and leadership, specialising in mechanical repairs, gas drainage, ventilation, workplace safety, and contractor management systems.

Dion’s career is underpinned by a strong foundation of nationally recognised qualifications, including:

Mechanical & Process Trade – Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade: Fitting and Turning), Certificate III in Process Plant Operations, and Certificate IV in Process Plant Technology.

Safety & Compliance – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma in Process Plant Technology, and extensive experience across major resources operations, including BHP, Anglo, Fitzroy, and Arrow Energy. Competencies that he holds underpin his technical knowledge and his leadership capabilities to establish and maintain workplace safety.

Specialist Competencies – Gas Drainage Management (RIIMCU404, RIIMCU503, RIIMCU603), Spontaneous Combustion Management (RIIMCU601), Workplace Health & Safety Systems (RIIWHS601E), Risk and Statutory Compliance (RIIRIS601E, RIIGOV601E), and Contractor Management (RIIPRM501E).
Over the past decade, Dion has overseen the implementation of statutory compliance plans, risk management frameworks, and health and safety management systems across complex mining environments. His background ensures that Reitech Services operates with a clear commitment to compliance, efficiency, and safety while supporting the operational needs of resource sector clients.

He takes a practical, people-first approach to management, ensuring safety and compliance are met while creating systems that clients and teams can trust.
